Hong Kong International Airport
Voted as the best Airport for 4 consecutive years (Reference), the Hong Kong International Airport is located at Lantau Island's Chek Lap Kok, together with 9 other Airport Programmes (e.g. Tsing Ma Bridge, Airport Express), costing about HK$150 billion dollars to complete. Opened in 1998, it has replaced Kowloon City's Kai Tak airport, which was renowned for the thrilling experience when aeroplanes touched down.

As shown above, the Airport has two main levels, above is the departure level (level 7) and one below is the arrival level (level 5).

If you have decided to catch the Airport Express to go to the Airport, you will arrive at the departure level once you leave the train, it's very convenient. For more information on Airport Express, please refer to the next page or Hong Kong Station.

The automatic ticket booths at the arrival hall are available for Airport Express Tickets or for topping-up Octopus Card only, you cannot buy an Octopus Card from these machines.

MTR's Customer Service Centre is the first place where you can buy an Octopus Card, don't miss it!
